I want everyone who comes to The Well-Minded Practice to feel heard, respected and able to speak openly about their experience. Your feedback is welcome, whether you would like to share something that has helped or raise something you are unhappy about.
I understand that raising a concern can feel difficult, particularly within a therapeutic relationship. If something hasn’t felt right, you are welcome to tell me during a session or email jo@thewellmindedpractice.com. You don’t need to wait until therapy has ended. I will take your concerns seriously, listen carefully and seek to understand what has happened. Wherever possible, I will work with you to find a way forward.
If you would like to make a complaint directly to me, please email jo@thewellmindedpractice.com, explaining what happened and what you would like me to consider. You do not need to use formal language; simply describe your experience in your own words. I will acknowledge your complaint, explain the next steps and keep you informed while I look into it. I will then provide a written response outlining the outcome and any action I will take.
If you do not feel comfortable raising the matter with me, or you are unhappy with my response, you can contact the Human Givens Institute (HGI) directly for guidance about its complaints process.
Full details, including the complaints form and help if you find it difficult to put your concerns in writing, are available on the HGI’s complaints page.
I am a Senior Accredited Member of the Human Givens Institute and practise in accordance with its Code of Ethics and Conduct.
